About this course
Arabic A0–A2 Beginner Track: Songs, Grammar & Stories – Course Description
Start Arabic from zero and grow to confident A2-level foundations with a course built for real life, not just memorising lists. This beginner track combines music, visuals, grammar “micro-hacks” and short stories so you can actually use what you learn.
You begin at A0, assuming no prior knowledge. Early modules gently introduce the Latin alphabet and sound system so you can read signs, menus and messages without fear. From there, you move through practical themes: greetings and introductions, family and friends, numbers, days and time, colours and clothes, food, home, body and health, travel, city life, work, study and money.
Across 15 structured lessons, you’ll meet around 1500 of the most frequent Arabic words, each supported by pictures and short videos with catchy song-style hooks to make them memorable. Instead of a dry explanation, every new set of words appears in simple phrases and mini-scenes you can picture and sing along with.
Layered on top are around 50 micro grammar tips. Each tip is a tiny, focused lesson that shows you one useful pattern at a time: basic word order, “to be”, gender and plurals, asking questions, negation, present, past and future forms, comparatives, common prepositions, talking about reasons, plans and conditions. All grammar is taught in context using words you already know, so it never feels like a heavy, separate subject.
To turn vocabulary and grammar into real conversation, you’ll work through 10 short, everyday stories and dialogues. These cover situations like meeting someone new, ordering in a café, shopping, asking for directions, describing your routine or talking about your weekend. Each story comes with audio, comprehension questions and prompts to speak or write your own version.
Every lesson includes quizzes to check understanding, and the track ends with a final review and completion certificate. By the end, you will be able to introduce yourself, talk about your life, understand common phrases in speech and text, and handle typical A2-level situations in Arabic with growing confidence.
